Candy Shorts app: web app, login, and why there is no APK
Candy Shorts runs in the browser. Here is how to log in, how to add it to a home screen, and why every “Candy Shorts APK” is a fake.
Candy Shorts is a web app, not a store app. Open candyshorts.com or the Shorts tab on candy.ai, log in with a Candy AI account, and the player runs in the browser on phone or desktop. There is no official APK, iOS app or desktop installer.
Episodes 1 and 2 of every series are free with an account.
How the app works
Candy Shorts is served as a web application. On a phone it behaves like a native feed: full-screen vertical video, swipe for the next episode, tap to pause, subtitles in seven languages. There is nothing to install. The same account works on candyshorts.com, on candy.ai and in the Candy AI companion app flows.
Log in with your Candy AI email and password, or create a free account from the Candy Shorts page. The account carries the age confirmation and any Premium plan, so a subscription bought for the chat features also unlocks every Shorts episode and vice versa.
Add it to the home screen
Because it is a web app, you can pin it. On iPhone, open candyshorts.com in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome, tap the menu, then Add to Home screen. It launches full-screen like an app.
Why there is no app-store app
Apple and Google do not list adult content apps. Candy AI therefore distributes through the web, which is also why the platform never asks you to install anything. If a page asks you to download a Candy Shorts APK, an iOS profile or a desktop client, it is not the platform. The leaked page describes what those files contain.
“Candy Shorts download” and offline viewing
Episodes stream from the platform and cannot be downloaded through the official player. Searches for a Candy Shorts download, torrent or “full videos” lead to pirated copies and malware, not to a feature that exists.
Candy Shorts on iPhone
Open candyshorts.com in Safari and sign in. The player runs inline, full screen in portrait, with the episode list underneath. Add to Home Screen from the Share menu to launch it like an app with its own icon and no browser bar. Because there is no App Store listing, there is nothing to update; the web app updates itself.
Candy Shorts on Android
Chrome, Firefox or Samsung Internet all work. Chrome’s menu offers Add to Home screen, which installs it as a web app. Do not install any APK: there is no official one, and the files circulating under the name are malware.
Candy Shorts on desktop
The same site in any desktop browser shows the vertical player centred with the episode list beside it. Keyboard arrows move between episodes and the player supports fullscreen. Desktop is the most comfortable way to read the subtitles on longer series.
Login problems
Candy Shorts uses the Candy AI account. If a password does not work, reset it from candy.ai; the new password applies to both. After a Premium purchase the platform asks you to confirm the account by email to keep access, so an unconfirmed address can look like a login failure. If episodes 3 and up still show a lock after paying, sign out and in again so the plan is picked up.
Discord, Telegram and “Candy Shorts bots”
Candy AI uses the web and its own app flows; it does not distribute Candy Shorts through Discord bots or Telegram channels. Anything presenting itself as a Candy Shorts bot is unofficial. The leaked page covers what those channels actually push.
