House Rules

The premise

Veronica Parker is bored, married, and sharing a house with her husband’s grown son and his girlfriend. Instead of complaining, she writes a list of house rules and pins it to the fridge. Each rule looks reasonable on paper. Each one is designed to put her and her stepson in the same room, at the same time, with the girlfriend a wall away.

The series plays out rule by rule. The free episodes introduce the household and the list; the Premium episodes show what happens when the rules are followed to the letter.

What to expect

House Rules is tagged Milf, Stepmom and Taboo. It is a slow-burn stepmother story told in five vertical episodes, with the tension of a girlfriend who is always nearby. The explicit scenes are reserved for episodes 3 to 5.

Who is Veronica Parker

Veronica is an original AI character from the Candy catalog, fictional and not based on any real person. She also appears as a companion inside Candy AI.

Themes and tone

House Rules is methodical where most stepmom series are impulsive. Veronica plans; the list on the fridge is the plot. The girlfriend in the next room gives every scene a second clock, and the series spends its free episodes making the rules sound reasonable before the Premium episodes show what they were for.

Similar series

Whatever Your Stepmom Says is the younger, blunter version of the same premise. Not Under My Roof swaps the stepmother for a mother-in-law, and The Gods Gave Me My Father’s Wife moves the stepmother to a throne.

How to watch it free

Episodes 1 and 2, the list and the first rules, are free with an account and an age confirmation. The rules that matter are enforced from episode 3, on Premium.
