The premise
Dad is leaving for a week and his new wife, Ava Parkson, is twenty-two. His instructions to you are short: do whatever your stepmom says. Ava takes the instruction literally. She runs the house, sets the schedule, and makes it clear from the first evening that you are on the list of things she intends to take charge of.
Five episodes, one week, a stepmother who outranks you by marriage and never lets you forget it.
What to expect
A young-stepmom story tagged Stepmom and Taboo, driven by Ava’s control of the household. Free episodes 1 and 2 are Dad’s departure and the new rules; Premium episodes 3 to 5 are the rest of the week.
Who is Ava Parkson
Ava is an original AI-generated Candy character, fictional and not modelled on a real person.
Themes and tone
The bluntest of the stepmom titles. Dad’s instruction is the whole premise, Ava takes it literally from the first evening, and the series is a week of her running the house and working down a list that ends with you. Where House Rules plans, this one orders.
Similar series
House Rules is the planned version of the same premise. The Gods Gave Me My Father’s Wife and My Father’s New Queen put the young stepmother on a throne.
How to watch it free
