The premise
The king is old, the bride is twenty-two, and on the wedding night she is not in the king’s chamber. Aubrey Vaughn is in the prince’s room instead, and the mark on her shoulder tells him exactly who sent her. A spy for the enemy in his father’s bed is a problem; a spy who prefers his bed is a bigger one.
Five episodes of court intrigue told from the wedding night onward.
